THERE WILL BE NO XMAS SEMINAR AT THE NEW YORK AIKIKAI IN 2021.

Dear South American and European Sansuikai members and aikido friends in the U.S. and around the world,
Unfortunately, the NY Aikikai will not be hosting a December seminar this year due to
COVID-related restrictions and requirements mandated by New York City. Yamada
Sensei will only be testing NY Aikikai students for dan ranks. We know how many of our aikido friends love to celebrate the holidays with our annual
seminar and we are so sorry to have to cancel the seminar for the second year in a row. Those of you who have attended our Xmas seminar know that the dojo is usually jam
packed – which is great for aikido training but very dangerous during a pandemic. There
is no safe way we can accommodate large numbers of visitors without putting the
health and safety of Yamada Sensei and NYA members in jeopardy. We will miss you all but send our best wishes for a joyous holiday season and a happy,
healthy 2022
